Dr. Sam Gunlogson

Dr. Sam is originally from southwestern Minnesota, where he grew up on a farm just south of Clarkfield. He became interested in chiropractic after being helped by a chiropractor when injured in high school football.
After high school, Dr. Sam attended the University of Minnesota, Morris, earning a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry. Following four more years of schooling, he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN in 2005.
Dr. Sam has completed advanced training in chiropractic wellness care and occupational health topics. He sees patients of all ages and is certified to conduct DOT approved physical exams, drug testing and alcohol screens. Several times each year he guest lectures on chiropractic practice to the students of Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sam is a member of the Montevideo Noon Lions Club and serves as a board member for the Montevideo Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. He spends his free time with his family, trying to keep up with his two sons.

Dr. Jennie Gunlogson

Dr. Jennie grew up in west-central Minnesota and graduated from Willmar High School. She has family in Montevideo and Appleton and has spent a lot of time in the area throughout the years. She began seeing a chiropractor while in high school to be able to continue to participate in dance at the highest levels.
Dr. Jennie received a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota, Morris. She went on to earn her doctorate in chiropractic in 2005 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN.
Dr. Jennie is board certified in chiropractic pediatrics and specializes in the care of infants, children and pregnant women. She is continuing to work toward her diplomate degree in these areas of expertise. Dr. Jennie offers many educational classes to the community on the topics of pediatric and pregnancy health.
When she's not in the office, Dr. Jennie teaches yoga and pilates classes in Montevideo and helps out some of the area dance teams. She is the past president of the Montevideo Area Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve on the board of directors. Dr. Jennie also co-chairs the Montevideo Schools' Nutrition & Fitness Task Force and is a member of the Wellness Policy committee.

DeeDee is the office chiropractic assistant and has been with the practice since 2004. She spends time at the front desk assisting with receptionist duties and also oversees the insurance and billing departments.

Laura joined Cornerstone Chiropractic in early September, 2009 as the front desk receptionist. A long-time Montevideo resident, she brings with her over 14 years of experience in various health-related fields.
